A new place for Baskin-Robbins opened on Jan. 27 at 9765 W. Flamingo Roadway.

Del Taco celebrated the opening of its 38th area in Las Vegas on Jan. 1. The new area is at 8125 Blue Diamond Road near Albertsons.

Drybar, a blowout bar, continues to broaden its existence in Las Vegas, opening three places in the city in simply two years. Flower Child, Las Vegas' new healthy, fast-casual dining establishment by Sam Fox, officially opened its doors on May 2.

Known for its Chicago deep-dish pizza, Giordano's commemorated its grand opening at Boca Park on Pi Day, Mar. 14. The Early morning Blend's J.J. Snyder hosted a cheese pull competition at the event where 3 competitors tried to raise their pizza slice the greatest without breaking the cheese. The winner, Scott Fujinaga, took home a Giordano's Cheese Source Pull Prize and a $100 gift card.
